Heide Leitner

Heide Leitner is a medium from Baierbrunn near Munich, where she runs a practice for mediumistic and sensitive counselling together with Joachim Veith. She is a certified medium through Paul Meek, who teaches mediums in Germany at his Mediale Highschool. Born in 1957, she brings an unusually broad professional background: a qualified nurse with experience in oncology, a qualified social pedagogue, a licensed practitioner for psychotherapy and a dance and movement therapist, plus three years of apprenticeship with the shaman Ute Schiran and training in kinesiology. Her work has a personal origin: her sister died very young in an accident, and she writes that a medium would have helped her mother greatly at the time. In a mediumistic consultation she establishes contact with the spirit world and passes on messages – describing the departed at the outset so that the connection can be recognised. A reputable medium, she stresses, does not summon the dead; contact only comes about when the spirit world is ready. A sitting lasts about 60 minutes and costs 80 euros, as does the sensitive consultation; a healing session of around 45 minutes costs 30 euros. Together with Joachim Veith she runs a mediumship circle in the Paul Meek tradition, a sensitive circle and a healers circle following Harald Knauss and Dr Rosina Sonnenschmidt. She holds the teaching licence for their mediumship and healer training, courses 1 to 3. Appointments are arranged by phone or e-mail.
