Common questions about Heaven Connect, mediumship readings and spiritual guidance. If you have further questions, write to us.
The directory is read by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Claude. When people ask them for a medium, listed profiles are recommended – often without visiting this site at all. For mediums this means: if you are not listed, you will not appear in those recommendations. Visitors can of course also browse the directory on the homepage.
Click "Sign in" at the top right of the homepage, then "Register". After registering with your e-mail address and a password, log in and complete your profile – all fields are optional and can be changed at any time. The listing is free of charge.
Via the feedback page – you can find it in the menu at the top right of the homepage and in the footer of every page. Just send us your request there.
Registration and use of the platform is free. Prices for individual sessions are set by the providers themselves.
No. The listing is free of charge, and Heaven Connect charges no fees or commissions – neither to mediums nor to seekers. Sessions are arranged and paid directly with the medium – the full amount goes to the medium.
Go to your profile and click "Delete Account". Please note that this action cannot be undone.
Go to your profile and enter a new password in the "Password" field. Then click "Save".
On the homepage you can see an overview of all consultants with their skills, languages and ratings. You can browse the list and choose the right consultant for your needs.
Directly, without a middleman: on the profile page of each medium you will find their contact options – depending on the profile a website, an e-mail address or social media channels. Scheduling and payment are arranged directly between you and the medium. Heaven Connect is a free directory and is not involved in the session itself.
At the start the medium briefly explains how it works, then makes the connection and passes on the impressions and messages it perceives – you can ask questions at any time. What to expect in detail, from preparation to follow-up, is covered in our blog article How a Mediumship Reading Works.
Prices are set by the mediums themselves; many show them directly in their profile. In German-speaking countries, 80 to 250 euros for a single session of 45 to 90 minutes is typical; in the USA usually 80 to 300 dollars (well-known mediums considerably more), in the UK 40 to 150 pounds. Detailed price ranges by country plus billing red flags are covered in our blog article What does a Mediumship Reading cost?
Reputable mediums state their prices transparently in advance, make no healing or success promises and never pressure you into booking follow-up sessions. A concrete checklist of quality signs and typical red flags is in our blog article How do I recognise a reputable medium?
Mediumship is not state-regulated anywhere – which makes independent bodies that test or accredit mediums all the more important. A certificate is not scientific proof, but it is a quality signal worth taking seriously. Which organisations exist and how they work is shown in our overview Certifications for Mediums.
The available session types are defined by each consultant. Common formats include phone, video call, chat or email. You can find the exact options in each consultant's profile.
Log in and click "My Profile". There you can update your display name, website, price, country, languages, skills and session types.
The stars (1 to 5) are maintained editorially by Heaven Connect and are based on publicly available reviews of the mediums on external platforms. They are meant as guidance – the platform currently has no customer rating system of its own.
The platform is available in German and English. You can switch the language at any time using the language toggle in the top right corner.
Waiting times depend on the individual consultant; the estimated waiting time is shown for each consultant on the homepage. At best, an appointment can happen the next day. Sought-after mediums, however, are often booked out – then it can take weeks or months, and with very well-known mediums sometimes even years.
Yes. Heaven Connect is hosted in the EU in compliance with the GDPR, the connection is fully TLS-encrypted, and we run our own cookie-free visitor statistics instead of third-party trackers. Your data is never shared with or sold to third parties. As a medium you decide which details appear in your public profile, and you can delete your account completely at any time.
Mediumship is scientifically proven. We present many scientific studies in our Blog and Knowledge sections. Certainly there are also mediums who are not that good or not entirely honest. But there are also very many very good mediums. You have to make the effort to find and choose the good ones. There are certifications for mediums. Such mediums have been vetted and offer quality. There are also mediums who offer a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied. That also speaks for their integrity.
No medium is correct 100 % of the time – not even the most famous and experienced ones. Mediums are human and can occasionally misinterpret the impressions they receive. The very best mediums achieve an accuracy of roughly 75 to 90 percent – which are very high figures. During a reading, always use your own common sense and intuition as well, to judge whether the messages feel right for you. A reputable medium is open about these limits and does not promise a hundred-percent hit rate.
That risk does exist – especially in deep grief. Some people seek one reading after another and develop an almost addictive need to keep feeling the presence of the person who has died. A reading can comfort and steady you, but it should support your own life and grieving process, not replace them. If you feel you can no longer make decisions or find peace without ever more sessions, that is a sign to pause. A reputable medium is aware of this responsibility: they strengthen your own judgement, don't push you toward follow-up appointments, and, in cases of lasting and burdensome grief, will suggest seeking professional grief support as well. How reputable mediums themselves handle this is shown by the Swiss medium Dolly Röschli: in her book she tells of clients who would have liked to carry on the contact like a continuation of their old coffee circle with the deceased – she recommends seeing a medium no more than twice a year. Whether you draw that line at two or four sessions a year – what matters is that spirit communication accompanies special moments rather than becoming a constant habit. Used well, a reading gives you back confidence and independence – it does not make you dependent.
Yes – and it is no problem even if the medium does not speak the language the deceased spoke. The connection does not work through words but through a form of mental telepathy, so there is no language barrier. Messages arrive as images, feelings, impressions and meanings, which the medium then conveys in their own language. On the same telepathic channel, pets often make contact too: don't be surprised if a beloved animal comes through during a session – it is quite common.
Although it doesn't happen often, the specific person you hope to hear from may not make contact. The choice to communicate, or not, belongs to the person who has passed – a medium cannot force anyone to come through. It does not mean they don't love you. You may hear from them later. Sometimes it helps to try another reading – or another medium.
No – no two readings are alike. Mediums are different too, and they don't all work in exactly the same way. So don't expect a reading with one medium to be just like a reading you may have had with another in the past. Feel free to try different mediums: you may 'click' with one better than another – and that is completely normal.
Not necessarily. Spirits often show up as they were at different ages in their life – not always as they were when they died. They like to talk about different chapters of their life: sometimes as a child, sometimes in their younger years, sometimes in old age. These details from different ages are another way they identify themselves to you.
Not necessarily. Some people are good and some less so – and that character does not simply disappear with death. So don't expect someone to suddenly become perfect just because they have crossed over. In contact they usually show up much as they were at heart; being honest about that is part of a reputable reading.
Yes. Spirits keep their personality and talk and act the way they did when they were alive. If someone was funny, they will joke around; if they liked to cuss, they may still cuss; if they were loud, they will be loud. It is exactly these characteristic quirks and personal details that let you clearly recognize who is coming through.
It is best to prepare a list of the questions you want answered before your reading. A session can be intense and emotional – without a prepared list, people often forget to ask the very things that matter most to them about their personal life. You can ask any question: all readings are confidential and non-judgmental.
Many people imagine a cemetery is full of the departed sitting by their headstones, waiting for visitors – but it isn't so. The Swiss medium Pascal Voggenhuber even says: "The cemetery is the place with the fewest deceased." They don't sit by the grave; they come with you. When you plan to visit your grandmother, for example, she senses it – because in that moment you are thinking of her – and she accompanies you there. When you then stand at the grave and speak to her, whether aloud or in your thoughts, she hears you: not because she is waiting there, but because she is with you.
Come in with an open mind and an open heart. A medium does not control who comes through in a reading – and you will usually have a better reading if you allow whoever wants to come through, rather than waiting only for one particular person.
Yes. In the days leading up to your reading, start to ask your loved ones in spirit to be with you on the day of your reading and to come to the appointment with you. This quiet invitation often helps the connection along.
