Sarah Stefan

Sarah Stefan is a spiritual medium from Trostberg in Upper Bavaria, Germany, where she works under the name „Sterne im Licht" (stars in the light). The early loss of people close to her runs through her life like a thread: her grandmother died when she was four, her father took his own life when she was fourteen, and at twenty-one she lost her stepbrother in a car accident. As a child she sensed the presence of the departed but was not believed, and eventually lost confidence herself – until an acquaintance appeared to her in Berlin in 2003 and said goodbye; the following day she learned he had taken his own life. Through the book „Der Himmel ist nur einen Schritt entfernt" she came to Paul Meek and received a detailed message from her stepbrother at one of his mediumship evenings in Munich. She began in the beginners' courses of the Mediale Highschool in 2011, was trained intensively by Meek from 2012 to 2015, and has been a certified medium since October 2015. She offers afterlife contact sittings, mediumistic counselling during grief, and life guidance – as in-person sittings in Trostberg and, explicitly, by phone or online as well. A sitting lasts about an hour and costs 80 euros, a recording included. She deliberately asks for no information in advance, only a first name – no one can be summoned from the spirit world, contact has to happen willingly. She does not comment on health matters and refers people to a doctor, and she gives no predictions about the future because she does not want to influence her guests' free will. In grief work her focus is on open questions after a sudden death and on feelings of guilt that can be released. Appointments are arranged by e-mail or phone.
