Elke Simmel

Elke Simmel is a medium and a licensed alternative practitioner for psychotherapy in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where she has run her own practice since 2014. She is a psycho-oncologist certified by the German Cancer Society, has completed palliative care training for psychosocial professions, and works among other methods with Katathym Imaginative Psychotherapy after Hanscarl Leuner. She has been training mediumistically with Karin M. Huber since 2016, and completed her training as a healing medium under the SNU Code of Conduct with the examination as an SNU Registered Accredited Healing Medium. She founded the Frankfurter3Klang together with Huber in 2018, and the two also host the podcast "Gespräche zwischen Hier & Jenseits". In a sitting Simmel perceives the deceased through her clairsenses: images and scenes before her inner eye, sometimes the surroundings in which a person lived or an object pointing to their occupation, along with sensations, smells and sounds. She deliberately gives no guarantees – "every contact is an experiment", and which of the deceased comes through lies outside her control; she does not practise fortune telling. An individual sitting for afterlife contact lasts 35 to 40 minutes and costs 150 euros, as does the spiritual assessment; a mediumistic healing session lasts 30 minutes and costs 90 euros. Sittings take place in her practice or by Zoom, and spiritualist healing mediumship additionally as a distant session for absent third parties and as distance healing through a spoken healing prayer. From her therapeutic side come coaching, hypnotherapy and regression work, and from the mediumistic side courses and mediumistic grief coaching. Appointments can be booked online.
