Karin M. Huber

Karin M. Huber is a medium and spiritual teacher in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. After almost ten years of intensive training in England, the Spiritualist National Union awarded her the DSNU for mediumship in 2024 – the highest award the SNU confers. In 2020 the SNU international had already given her the three CSNUi awards for demonstrating mediumship, public speaking and teaching in the English tradition as it is also taught at the Arthur Findlay College; she is the German representative of the SNUi and a certified tutor of Mavis Pittilla. Her practice is in Frankfurt-Heddernheim, in the rooms of the Frankfurter3Klang, which she founded in 2018 together with Elke Simmel to promote mediumistic work to British standards in Germany. The ZDFinfo series "Mythos – Geister und Gespenster" has portrayed her work, and with Simmel she hosts the podcast "Gespräche zwischen Hier & Jenseits". Huber works exclusively along the principles of English spiritualism; she expressly does not practise card reading, promises of healing, predictions of the future or laying on of hands. In a sitting she perceives the deceased through various sensory impressions and describes them precisely enough for the sitter to recognise whom the information comes from; answers are meant to be limited to "yes", "no" or "I don't know". She works to a ten-minute rule: if contact is not made, or only weakly, within the first ten minutes, the sitting can be ended at no cost. Her rates for an individual sitting are 220 euros by Zoom and 250 euros in Frankfurt, or 350 euros for two people from the same family. She is not currently taking new appointments for sittings – those on her waiting list are contacted when a slot opens, and otherwise she recommends Elke Simmel. Her teaching continues: masterclasses on mediumship and trance, an intensive year-long course, online courses, the "Power Hour" mediumistic circle and public demonstrations of mediumship at the Frankfurter3Klang.
