Meghan Parsons

Meghan Parsons is an evidential Spiritualist medium, teacher and coach, and a registered medium of the Lily Dale Assembly; she also serves as Associate Minister at Tree of Life Spiritualist Church. She grew up immersed in the Spiritualist tradition — her mother, Rev. Colleen Parsons, has worked with Spirit throughout her life and gave her an early appreciation of the continuity of life. She began her formal study of Spiritualism and evidential mediumship in 2001 and has continued to develop through workshops, mentorship and study with respected teachers from around the world. She regards mediumship as both a natural ability and a craft requiring lifelong practice. She calls her work Spirit-centred: she lets those in spirit guide the conversation rather than attempting to predict the future. Asked the common question whether she can „turn it off", her answer is yes — outside her work she is simply Meghan, a wife, mother of two, goat farmer and avid coffee drinker. Spirit, she says, communicates through symbols, feelings, memories, images and impressions that need interpreting; during a sitting she therefore asks questions to make sure the message is understood together. Communication, not perfection, is the measure. Private Zoom readings cost $115 for 30 minutes and $230 for 60 minutes; a 90-minute in-person reading at her farm is $275. During the summer season she also gives individual and group readings at Lily Dale and serves at message services in the Auditorium and at the Forest Temple. For mediumistic development she offers a monthly Zoom circle at $20, a four-week course and one-to-one mentorship at $450, available exclusively to students who have taken the course.
