Colleen Parsons
Colleen G. Parsons, RN, MS, is a registered medium of the Lily Dale Assembly and also a registered nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing. Her nearly fifty years in nursing took her from labour and delivery through to hospice care, across inpatient and outpatient settings and the whole human lifespan; her speciality is psychiatric-mental health nursing. Alongside this she has studied metaphysics, spirituality and human potential since 1988, and has worked as a medium for more than 25 years. That parallel depth — scientific and spiritual — shapes her work: sessions with her, she says, are never purely spiritual and never purely clinical, but both. She writes about what it means to walk a spiritual path as a human being and about the interplay between spiritual experience and biophysiology. She sums up her outlook with a line from Maya Angelou: when we know better, we do better. Her work covers mediumship sittings, spiritual coaching and support through life transitions — grief, career shifts, changes in relationships and health challenges. She also offers what she calls „Epigenetic Clearing", in which she traces and releases energetic influences from ancestry, past lives, the present life and relationships. She does not see mediumship as telling people what to think or do, but as creating space for healing and clarity; often, she says, the most meaningful messages are those that reconnect people with their own inner knowing. Confidentiality, emotional safety and professional boundaries matter to her explicitly, as does a willingness to refer clients on to further support when needed. She gives sittings in person at Lily Dale during the season and year-round by Zoom and telephone; outside the season most sessions are held online. She does not publish her fees on her website; appointments are arranged through her booking system or by telephone, and gift certificates are available.
