Werner Brodeßer
Werner Brodeßer, born in 1959 and based in Troisdorf near Bonn, is one of the longest-serving German mediums on the web: since 1999 he has shared his work as a "mediator between the worlds" through his website, joined by a book and press and television appearances. He found his way to mediumship through his community service in a care home and the search for what comes after death; he was trained in countless seminars and courses with British mediums who came to Germany through a German agency. Two mediums foretold his own career early on: the over-eighty-year-old Scotswoman Joan MacLeod — and Paul Meek, with whom he remains friends to this day and to whom he dedicates a page of his own on his website. Marion Schäfer-Staudigl names him as one of her continuing-education teachers. In his private sittings he makes contact with the departed in the tradition of British Spiritualism — with a strict ethos: he expressly asks the bereaved to tell him nothing about their loved ones in advance, for "a reputable spiritual medium needs no information whatsoever" — the less he knows, the more evidential the messages. He has also given seminars on spirit contact, reincarnation and grief for decades, currently in Weiterstadt near Darmstadt and in Düsseldorf/Neuss. Fees on request; contact by e-mail.
