Karin Kapfhammer

Karin Kapfhammer, née Mörixbauer, is an afterlife-contact medium and Heilpraktikerin in Neuburg am Inn near Passau and also works in Munich. She was trained and certified by Paul Meek to British standards; she has worked in grief support since 2014 and has given mediumship trainings herself since 2016. Among the mediums who have taken further training with her is Puck Köhler. Her website devotes a page of its own to the question of how to recognise a reputable medium. For a private sitting she charges 180 € per hour and asks clients to allow at least two hours – how long a contact takes cannot be fixed in advance, she writes, because some of the departed wish to say more than others. Every appointment includes an explanation of the process and, if wanted, a debrief afterwards. Anyone unable to afford the fee can raise it in advance and receive a reduction on presentation of official proof. Those for whom a private sitting feels too personal can first attend a mediumship afternoon. She also gives talks, accompanies bereavement groups and runs mediumship workshops and a multi-stage training. Appointments strictly by arrangement and with lead time – she does not offer short-notice appointments.
