Kai
Kai Mügge from Hanau, Germany, is one of the few actively working physical mediums in the German-speaking world. Since the early 2000s he has led the Felix Experimental Group (FEG) – a closed séance circle in the classical mould, whose core includes his sister Julia. The FEG séances report the phenomena that mediumship research has described since the late 19th century: rapping sounds, free-floating "spirit lights", ectoplasm, apports, direct voice and materializations; Mügge works in trance, guided by a control personality who calls himself "Professor". He thus stands in the tradition of D. D. Home, Eusapia Palladino and Rudi Schneider. Over the years the FEG has received international sitters, held workshops in Europe, the USA and Australia, and documented part of the phenomena on infrared video. The scientist Eckhard Kruse has researched the FEG's phenomena: monitored sittings took place in Hanau over an extended period, which he accompanied with cameras, sensor technology and audio signal processing – a portrait of his measurement methods can be found in our blog. Those who want to experience the FEG's work can do so through séance dates, workshops and seminars; inquiries run through his website and social media channels.
