Tim Smith
Tim Smith of Great Barton in Suffolk came to Spiritualism late. He had spent a working lifetime as a copywriter and creative director before the seven principles made sense to him and he recognised what he had called intuition in advertising as inspiration from the spirit world. Today he is a tutor at the Arthur Findlay College, where he trains people to become spiritualist healing mediums. The register of the Spiritualists’ National Union lists him with the DSNU in healing, in teaching healing and in assessing, along with CSNU recognitions for healing and for teaching it, and the ASNU award. Over more than a decade he has also deepened his attunement with two hypnotherapy diplomas specialising in past life regression and spiritual regression, and he works with spirit-inspired art, in which a message in image and writing can be as healing as a healing session.
His teaching runs from the first steps to trance healing: at the Arthur Findlay College he leads online workshops on the trance state, monthly trance healing circles and residential courses at Stansted Hall. Private sittings can be booked through the college tutor page. He does not publish prices; for a first enquiry the SNU register gives his email address and landline number.
