Adam Berry

Adam Berry is a spiritualist medium from Bury, Lancashire, England, and has been at home in Spiritualism for more than twenty-five years. In 2016 he received the Gordon Higginson Memorial Scholarship Award from the Spiritualists' National Union; the official register today lists him with the DSNU in Demonstrating and Teaching, the CSNU awards in speaking and demonstrating, and as a CSNU teacher in demonstrating. He trained at the Arthur Findlay College, where he was an approved tutor, and describes his mentorship with Mavis Pittilla as the turning point in his development. Mediumship, he says, is not only about proving that life continues after physical death: when a communication takes place and the character and memories of a loved one come through, a healing between the two worlds is generated. Alongside his mediumship he publishes spiritual poetry ("Soul Rise", "Soul Expressions") and his own music. Private sittings are available by appointment through his booking system; he does not publish prices for them. He also serves divine services and demonstrations in spiritualist churches and centres, and teaches both online and in person. Since 2019 he has hosted "Sitting in the Power" online every Monday at 7pm UK time, with more than 600 subscribers and forty to sixty people attending regularly. His one-to-one tuition takes place online, lasts two hours and costs 125 pounds; a block of four sessions costs 475 pounds. Places are limited, and a free introductory conversation establishes in advance whether the work is a good fit.
