Anita Ratschiner

Anita Ratschiner is a medium for afterlife contact and an energy practitioner in Vienna, Austria. She grew up with afterlife contact: her grandparents, mother and aunt worked with alternative healing methods and with contact to the deceased, and much of what outsiders could not explain was taken for granted in the family. Only later did she realise how unusual that upbringing was. Caring for severely ill relatives until their death led her to look into the causes of illness. Her training includes the Privatschule der Naturpraktiker in Perchtoldsdorf, the Aura-Soma centre in Vienna, and courses in Touch for Health, mental technique and IL-DO body candles. Today she trains mediums for afterlife contact herself and keeps a list of the mediums she has trained in Austria and southern Germany on her website. For Ratschiner a medium is "only an intermediary between the spirit world and the here and now". In an afterlife contact she aims to clear up open questions, resolve unresolved conflicts and find peace with the deceased. A sitting is explicitly for one person, not for a whole family or several friends at once; appointments are arranged personally only, Monday to Friday between 8 am and 5 pm, and distant treatment is possible. Alongside this she works with hypnosis, past-life regression, spiritual healing, Aura Soma, body candles, Breuss spinal massage and kinesiology. For mediumistic training she runs a trance seminar – "Trance, the highest level of mediumship", with questions and answers in trance, cabinet experiences and transfiguration, at 160 euros – and has two of her students lead mediumistic practice groups at 45 euros. She does not publish prices for individual sittings.
