Kathleen Addaia Taylor

Kathleen Addaia Taylor is a registered medium of the Lily Dale Assembly. Her path to mediumship began in the summer of 2003 on a solo visit to Lily Dale that changed the course of her life; through a series of synchronicities and profound spiritual experiences she came to understand mediumship, along with a clear message she takes as her life's purpose: to be an instrument bringing light into the world. She serves as a healer in the Healing Temple at Lily Dale and is a Reiki II practitioner; during her Reiki II attunement she experienced, by her own account, being flanked by celestial beings, and later, in classes at Lily Dale, encounters she describes as angelic visitations. Before moving to Lily Dale she led spiritual development circles for several years at her home in Pittsburgh through the National Spiritualist Association of Churches. Professionally she holds a Master of Science in Education from Duquesne University and has a background in psychology: she worked as a school psychologist with children facing developmental disabilities and emotional challenges, and later with adults overcoming barriers to employment. She calls her way of working mental mediumship and describes it through four channels of perception: clairaudience, clairsentience, clairvoyance and inner knowing. Alongside loved ones in spirit, guides and other spiritual helpers may step forward. She advises coming with an open mind and holding thoughts of a particular loved one in spirit — this strengthens the three-way connection between medium, sitter and Spirit. A 30-minute reading costs $100 and takes place in person or via Zoom or video chat. Couples' readings run around 45 minutes at $150; they are held at her home and arranged by call or text. Group readings for three to five people are offered at her home during the summer season, and from September to mid-June at a location of the group's choosing. In-person sittings take place at her home, the „Wee House" at 3 First Street — a building dating from around 1880, the era when Lily Dale was founded. During the summer season she also serves on the platform at the outdoor services and the Monday Night Circles, and takes part in psychic fairs.
