Rev. Dr. Kathleen Salyers

Rev. Dr. Kathleen Salyers lives year-round at Lily Dale and is listed there as a registered medium of the Assembly. She is an ordained minister of Fellowships of the Spirit and a graduate of its School of Spiritual Healing and Prophecy. Her professional background is in social work and counselling: she holds a B.A. in Social Work from Ohio University, an M.S. in Social Agency Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Ohio University. For many years she worked in community agencies as a social worker and counsellor with a very diverse population; most recently she was a tenured professor at the University of Toledo, where among other responsibilities she was Program Coordinator of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, retiring from that post. She sees her mediumship as a continuation of that service — drawing on herself as a spiritual being, on her relationship with God and with her spirit guides, and on those from the spirit world brought forward for the highest and best of the person receiving the reading. She describes herself as a medium, spiritual counsellor, mystic and teacher. She gives sittings at Lily Dale (18 Second Street). For a reading she asks a donation of $100 for 30 minutes or $200 for a full hour. Appointments are arranged by telephone or e-mail.
