Rev. Celeste Elliott

Rev. Celeste Elliott is a Spiritualist minister, medium and healer, a year-round resident of Lily Dale and listed there as a registered medium of the Assembly. She has worked professionally as an evidential medium since 2009 and by her own account has given thousands of readings for clients around the world. She is ordained through the Church of the Living Spirit, where she regularly lectures, chairs services and teaches; she travels to serve churches and organisations across the United States and parts of Canada, teaching and demonstrating mediumship both in person and on Zoom. She describes her perception as feeling, tasting, smelling and knowing — comparing her role to that of a simultaneous interpreter translating incoming impressions in real time. What draws her to Spiritualism is its philosophy of healing, balance and soul progression. She describes a sitting as a conversation between the medium, the client and the client's people in spirit — part family reunion, part life check-up. She expressly rejects fortune-telling; information about life is meant to support one's own decisions, not replace them. She gives readings of 30 minutes for $140 and 60 minutes for $280, each stated as a donation — in person at her office in Lily Dale (5 Fourth Street) or virtually by telephone, FaceTime and Zoom. She considers remote sittings just as effective, since the client's voice makes the energetic link easier. She advises talking to loved ones in spirit beforehand and thinking about what clarity is being sought. She also teaches spiritual development in classes all year round, in person and online, runs circles and takes part in public worship services and events. For those in deep grief she explicitly points to professional counselling as well.
