Michaelene Clevenger

Michaelene „Mike" Clevenger is a registered medium of the Lily Dale Assembly and lives at Lily Dale. By her own account her curiosity about the mystical arts goes back as far as she can remember; in her early thirties she began to pursue her spirituality in earnest, grew more sensitive to energies and started to „know" things. She completed the certified Master Program of the James Van Praagh School of Mystical Arts and is a graduate and ordained Spiritual Minister of the School of Spiritual Healing and Prophecy at Fellowships of the Spirit in Lily Dale. James Van Praagh, who tutored her over several years, describes her as a dedicated messenger for the spirit world who is always willing to learn something new. Smithsonian Magazine featured her in its piece on Lily Dale, and she was interviewed for Jennifer Sever's book „Tapped In: Spiritual Insights from the Lives of Mediums, Healers and Near-Death Experiencers". In her sittings she sees herself as the conduit for Spirit and puts weight on evidential detail the sitter can recognise and confirm; loved ones in spirit include beloved pets as well as people. Her website gives detailed guidance on preparing — arrive relaxed and on time, do not feed the medium information, answer only „yes", „no" or „I don't know", and say straight away when something does not fit so she can adjust. A session lasts 30 to 40 minutes and costs $130, an hour $260; sittings take place in person at Lily Dale (5 Buffalo Street) or online via Zoom. She also enjoys hosting group readings at her home and offers one-to-one psychic medium mentorship as well as workshops.
