Jackie Avis

Jackie Avis comes from Cleveland, Ohio, and lives in Cassadaga, New York, about a quarter of a mile from Lily Dale. She is a registered medium of the Lily Dale Assembly and has worked professionally as a Spiritualist medium since 2010. For seventeen years she has also been among the certified healing mediums of the Healing Temple at Lily Dale and serves at Spiritualist church services; previously she facilitated public spiritual hands-on healing sessions in Cleveland. She sees her work as evidence that the bond with those who have passed continues, and as a way of easing the fear of living and of dying. She gives private sittings in person and by telephone, either one to one or jointly with one additional family member. A session costs $90 for 30 minutes and $125 for 45 minutes. From April to November she receives clients in Cassadaga, and from late June to the end of August also at Lily Dale (17 East Street); from December through March sessions are by telephone only, and she works with clients throughout the United States and Canada. Appointments are requested through a form on her website, which she says she answers within a day. She expressly does not offer private healing sessions — she gives spiritual healing only within the Healing Temple and at church services.
