Angie Abt

Rev. Angela „Angie" Hewett-Abt from Williamsville near Buffalo is a registered medium of the Lily Dale Assembly, the oldest Spiritualist community in the United States. Her path began in the early 1980s; at Lily Dale she met Elaine Thomas, who practised there as a registered medium for more than fifty years. In 2002 Angie Abt graduated from the School of Healing and Prophecy at Fellowships of the Spirit and was ordained as a minister; today she serves there as Associate Director. By her own account she developed her mediumship with Lily Dale mentors such as Sharon Klingler, Greg Kehn, Shirley Smith and Bill Collier, studied hypnotherapy and past-life regression with Dick Sutphen, medical intuition with Tina Zion, and Reiki and energy work with Tom Cratsley among others. In 2005 she earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a focus on counselling and psychology. She runs Santosha Holistic Services, the centre she founded. She gives sessions in person at Lily Dale (19 Fourth Street, during the June to September season) and year-round in Williamsville, as well as remotely by telephone, Zoom, FaceTime and Facebook Messenger. A spiritual reading costs $120 for 30 minutes and $235 for 60 minutes; a short session for a single question is $65 for 15 minutes, and shorter FaceTime or e-mail readings are $30 (15 minutes) and $55 (30 minutes). She also offers animal communication and medical intuitive readings ($100 each), past-life regression ($225), spiritual counselling and grief support ($120), Reiki and distance energy healing. Group sessions are possible, with each additional person at $45. Appointments can be made through her online booking system; for the Lily Dale season she advises booking early, as her slots there fill quickly.
