Bernadette Grob

Bernadette Grob works as a medium for afterlife contacts and as a Reiki master in Brühl between Cologne and Bonn, Germany. Born in the Rhineland in 1966, she is married, has three daughters and is a qualified translator for French, Spanish and Italian; her main occupation is in the IT department of a large car manufacturer – an environment that reminds her daily how well technology and intuition can complement each other. The turning point came in 2000: during a meditation she very clearly perceived her deceased teacher. In 2001 she began her Reiki training and had her first afterlife contact sitting. She owes her training as an afterlife contact medium to Adele Thielen-Kuhl and Karl Jansen, at whose centre in Rheinbach she was trained and certified in English spiritualism; her training as a Reiki master she owes to Brunhild Berg. In a sitting she describes what the soul conveys to her – appearance, character, idiosyncrasies, occupation, shared experiences, hobbies. She does not want any information in advance, that makes the contact more credible, and she does not call specific departed people: she attunes to the vibration and passes on the souls that show themselves. Every sitting is also an experiment – if no contact comes about, it costs nothing. An afterlife sitting lasts 45 to 60 minutes and costs 80 euros, a Reiki treatment about 60 minutes and 50 euros. She gives Reiki as hands-on treatment at her practice in Brühl, which is also easy to reach from Cologne, Bonn, Hürth, Wesseling and Erftstadt; from the second degree onwards she also works with distant Reiki, which is possible nationwide and worldwide and takes about 30 minutes. She provides her services as a private individual; they do not constitute medical treatment and replace neither doctor nor naturopath.
