Kitty Woud

Kitty Woud is a Dutch medium and an Officiant of the Spiritualists' National Union (OSNU, appointed 2014). At the Arthur Findlay College she is a tutor and course organiser and holds the CSNU certificates for Teaching, Speaking and Demonstrating; among the mediums she has taught there is Karin Jacoby-Schlüßlhuber. As a child she was clairvoyant and clairaudient and assumed everyone else perceived the spirit world in the same way. At eighteen she watched a demonstration of mediumship, recognised herself in it, and developed her own mediumship through the Arthur Findlay College and several development circles. She gave up her career as an English teacher in order to work as a medium. She expressly does not offer private sittings – neither in person nor by telephone or email, and she asks not to be approached about them. Her work is public and group-based: as an evidential medium in Dutch spiritual centres, giving demonstrations and lectures across the country – among them „The Art of Dying" on what happens shortly before, during and after death – as well as day and evening workshops for six or more participants on mediumship, philosophy, intuitive development, healing, trance and aura.
